CWG: Benjamin, Khor Shoot Down Bronze In Double Trap

NEW DELHI, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Malaysian shooters earned the first medal on the third day of the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) here Wednesday, thanks to Benjamin Khor and Khor Seng Chye.

The duo shot down a bronze medal in the double trap (pairs) shooting event held at the Dr Karni Shooting Range.

They collected 185 points to secure the third place, while England with 189 bagged the gold.

Host India missed the gold by just one point. Indian shooters ended the final with 188 points.

So far, Malaysia has collected a total of six medals at the 19th edition of the games, with two gold, two silver and two bronze.

A total of 27 gold medals are up for grabs Wednesday.
