Commonwealth: Aussies Flex Muscle On First Day To Win Four Gold Medals

NEW DELHI, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- Defending overall champion Australia quickly moved into the lead on the first day of the 2010 Commonwealth Games here Monday.

Australian swimmers fished out three gold medals from the pool while one came from their men's gymnastic artistic team.

Malaysia moved into reckoning by clinching the men's 56kg weightlifting gold through Amirul Hamizan Ibrahim.
